Blogging as part of Biopolitics

Needless to say, the irony that this is a blog post is not lost on me. This is why I do not see blogging as activism — too much inane babble, too many people shouting, and not enough people listening. This is also why I do not seek a ‘popular’ audience. Blogging is an outlet to order my thoughts in a way that allows the informed reader to helpfully chime in. Hopefully this doesn’t make us docile and subject to the biopolitical rule.

But I thought you were all about blogging for the oppressed and “blogging from below”–you know, speaking as one white kid with a computer to another white kid with a computer about how it sucks to be white kids with computers because there are so many nonwhite kids without computers.
